The Requirements

The childcare personnel are required to demonstrate professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to fostering safe and nurturing early childhood experiences. They must undergo a comprehensive background check, hold CPR certification, possess early childhood credentials, pass an Integrity test, and receive first aid training. Training opportunities are offered through Little Makers Academy's in-service training program. Explore available positions now.

Administrators (Full-Time)

We are looking for an individual to oversee the operations of a childcare facility and maintain a regular on-site presence.


Requirements

Minimum age of 21, possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent, and ONE of the following qualifications:


  • Two Years of Full-Time Experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • An AAS/BS/MA Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Closely Related Field.
  • A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
  • Completion of a Community College Curriculum Program in Early Childhood Education.
  • One Year of Full-time Verifiable Experience in Early Childhood Education, and NCECC certification.

Lead Teacher (Full-Time)

We are looking for a professional responsible for designing and executing the daily activity program for a designated group of children within a childcare center.


Requirements

Minimum age of 18, possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent, and North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials. Without the NCECC certification, candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:


  • One Year of Experience Within a Childcare Center.
  • Completion of a Two-Year Child Care Occupational Home Economics Course in High School.
  • Completion of 20 Clock Hours of Training in Child Development.

Part-Time Positions

Must be 18 years old, and possess experience in childcare
